Air Refraction

Model for the Refractive Index of Humid Air in the Infrared and Visible. Based on: 1. Philip E. Ciddor, “Refractive index of air: new equations for the visible and near infrared” (1996). 2. Richard J. Mathar, “Refractive Index of Humid Air in the Infrared: Model Fits” (2006).

This module computes the refractive index of air (n - 1) taking into account temperature, pressure, and relative humidity. It uses the Ciddor (1996) model for wavelengths < 1.3 um and the Mathar (2006) model for wavelengths >= 1.3 um.
